his “lanwei” series was collected by M+ museum, hong kong in 2013.

曾創作廣為人知的《紅白藍》系列，並以此系列於2005年代表香港參展第51屆威尼斯雙年展。
2012年，獲頒發『香港當代藝術奬』2012及2011香港藝術發展奬的年度最佳藝術家奬（視覺藝術）。
2013年，其《爛尾》攝影系列被香港M+博物館所收藏。

artist statement
the film ‘jing yat’ is developed from my installation work ‘painting by god’
which was first showcased in anexhibition in 2008.
they carry the same message: embrace life. embrace the nature.
jing yat was born in Hong Kong in the 1960s, same age as mine. all slices of life,
people relations and dreams featured in the film…
are what i still believe in and will not change with time.
this is the first feature short film in my 30 years of creative career, sponsored by sun life financial.
由我零八年開始的裝置創作「神畫」到今天轉化為十三分鐘的短片「正一」，
信息都是同一個 — 擁抱生命，擁抱大自然｡
正一生於一九六零代的香港，是從我自身的背景出發，
中間的生活點滴､親情友情､夢想，
都是我五十年來一直沒有改變過，堅定的……
這是三十年創作生涯的首次電影短片創作，由永明金融贊助｡
