his “lanwei” series was collected by M+ museum, hong kong in 2013.

曾創作廣為人知的《紅白藍》系列，並以此系列於2005年代表香港參展第51屆威尼斯雙年展。
2012年，獲頒發『香港當代藝術奬』2012及2011香港藝術發展奬的年度最佳藝術家奬（視覺藝術）。
2013年，其《爛尾》攝影系列被香港M+博物館所收藏。

artist statement
I’ve immersed myself in creative work in various domains:
commercial and artistic-cultural;
two- and three-dimensional for a quarter of a century now.
I started off specializing in the visual arts,
but somehow ended up developing an ever more intense interest in the verbal text.
In fact, the main reason why i gave up,
in 1999, my job as creative director of bbh in singapore
[a highly prestigious British advertising agency of international repute],
a position i had held for over two years at that point,
and decided to come back to Hong Kong was because
i missed creating in chinese too much.
A picture supposedly tells a thousand words.
So what and how much would one containing a handful of words tell me?
To chinese communities,
the ideogram is an instrument of communication and a channel for expression.
Through it, different narrators have different stories to tell, and through time,
the stories can only grow in vividness and poignancy.
在創作工業裡打轉了三十個年頭。
商業的，文化藝術的，平面的，立體的。
開始就是專長視覺創作的我，不知從何開始，
對文字的興趣及執著愈是濃烈。
還記得一九九九年身在新加坡BBH [世界創意地位崇高英國廣告公司的亞洲分公司]出任創意總監兩年多以來，因為太戀中文創作的原故，
返回香港再與中文續前緣。
人家常談a picture tells more than a thousand words;
原來一幅照片能說多過千言萬語，
那沒一幅有「三言兩語」的照片可能給我什麼⋯⋯
中文字在我們中國人社會生活中是溝通的工具，表達的渠道，
落在不同人的手中，訴說不同的故事，
與時間磨合發酵，情節愈發立體、動人。
