his “lanwei” series was collected by M+ museum, hong kong in 2013.

artist statement
At a presentation by Master Asaba, he said,
“Life, is like a game of ping pong.
The ball is now at your side of the table, you strike it back.
The ball is here again, and again you strike it back…”
His words were imprinted on my mind.
Life is so unpredictable,
and events can catch you by surprise, one after another.
The volcanic eruption of Iceland,
earthquakes in various countries and the tsunami in Japan.
Just when we thought we knew
the rule of the game,
the rules are changed, demanding double effort.
Will you still take the challenge?
聽了淺葉克己老師一次演講這樣說：
「人生，有如一場乒乓球賽。
球過來，你就推過去。
球又再過來，你又再推回去⋯⋯」
很深刻的記在心裡。
人生無常，世間無常之事接二連三，
冰島火山爆發，不同國家之地震和日本海嘯。
