he was awarded the hong kong contemporary art awards 2012 and
the hong kong arts development awards 2011 – award for best artist (visual arts) in 2012.
his “lanwei” series was collected by M+ museum, hong kong in 2013.

曾創作廣為人知的《紅白藍》系列，並以此系列於2005年代表香港參展第51屆威尼斯雙年展。
2012年，獲頒發『香港當代藝術奬』2012及2011香港藝術發展奬的年度最佳藝術家奬（視覺藝術）。
2013年，其《爛尾》攝影系列被香港M+博物館所收藏。

artist statement
this piece of garment is not worn to attract attention.
it is not something to make me look smarter, more handsome.
it is not a slogan tee I use to make a statement.
I am intimately wrapped between two pieces of fabric,
one in front and one at the back.
future in front,
past at the back.
even if they are hanging only 0.1 mm from my body,
they are still away from me, my mind.
live now. explicitly now. focus myself at now.
now is this very moment, my thoughts, my muse.
this item of clothing serves as a reminder.
it is something for me to learn, to practice.
put on now…live now.
這不是一件穿給人家看的衣服。
這不是一件穿了令自己更帥、更美的衣服。
這不是一件表態的 slogan tee。
當兩幅前後布料緊裹我底身軀，
前面是將來，後面是過去。
衹要離開我的身体、我的腦袋，
那管衹是零點一毫米的距離。
活在當下。清 在當下。將自己凝聚在當下。
現在就是這剎那，我的思緒⋯我的靈⋯感⋯
這是一件給自己題示的衣服。
這是一件給自己練功和修行的衣服。
