he came to international attention with his “redwhiteblue” series,
which he presented at the 51st venice biennale in 2005 representing hong kong.
he was awarded the hong kong contemporary art awards 2012 and
the hong kong arts development awards 2011 – award for best artist (visual arts) in 2012.
his “lanwei” series was collected by M+ museum, hong kong in 2013.

視覺溝通人。
1960年生於香港。
曾創作廣為人知的《紅白藍》系列，並以此系列於2005年代表香港參展第51屆威尼斯雙年展。
2012年，獲頒發『香港當代藝術奬』2012及2011香港藝術發展奬的年度最佳藝術家奬（視覺藝術）。
2013年，其《爛尾》攝影系列被香港M+博物館所收藏。

important matters. small matters.
family matters, matters of the nation.
co-workers sorting out matters together.
strictly business matters.
doesn’t matter, avoid the matter.
simplify the matter, ignore the matter.
dealing with people matters is
the matter of trying our best,
the matter of getting the right facts
and making the facts right.
no matter what,
it’s never a matter of course,
sometimes, matters work against our will,
other times, it’s mind over matter.
inspirations scatter over no-matter

stirring up matters? causing matters?
take advantage from matters?
that it’s not a matter, no serious matter,
anyway, in our world,
there’s no matter to begin with…

大事小事。家事國事。
同事共事。公辦公事。
費事、怕事。
多一事不如少一事。
做人處事，盡人事，
實事求是。
難料世事。
有時事以願違。
有時事在人為。
